Overview:

A passion for great quality food, drinks and great service. A love for talking to customers is a must. We are looking for someone who has the desire to lead a passionate team to greatness. To help recruit, train, manage, guide staff to become even better hospitality staff. We need someone who can help manage stock in the cafe and bar, ensure good communication with the kitchen and ensure customers leave having had the best possible experience. Equally important is your ability to smile even when busy and find time to talk to our many customers. After all they are the ones that make a bar a bar.

 

You are the glue that binds the kitchen, restaurant and bar together.

Some Of Your Daily Responsibilities:

​

Serving Hot and Cold Drinks

• Talk to new and old customers who are coming into the bar.

• Support in making and serving all drinks and serving of food.

• Ensure all food and drinks are served to a high standard and consistently

• Ensure equipment, glasses and area are cleaned and ready to be used

​

Bar Preparation

• Set up the till and music player

• Ensure the bar and restaurant is stocked before a shift with ingredients, bottles, ice, fruit prepared, blend juices, coffee and glassware

• Ensure the area is clean and prepare the bar and coffee area, support in setting up the bar and restaurant area with tables and chairs.

• Ensure the area is cleaned down and locked with the till removed at the end of the shift

Management

• Manage stock checks, deliveries and ordering of supplies and maintenance to ensure a smooth running of the bar.

• Ensure proper set up at the start of the day and break down at the end of the night of the Bar & Restaurant

• Staff recruitment

• Manage Bar & Restaurant staff schedule including holidays and cover for sick days

• Ensure all staff maintain all equipment and share any damage or breakages to ensure new items are ordered so drink preparation is maintained

• Ensure staff are rewarded for good work ethic and punish bad work behaviour

• Support in developing special nights with unique drinks such as Christmas, New Years Eve and Valentine's Day

What We Are Looking For​

• A positive, bubbly personality. Someone who loves talking to guests and making them feel happy

• 6+ years experience working in a restaurant or bar

• 2 years experience working as a restaurant or bar manager

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Experience of hiring staff including interview process

• Desire to mentor and develop your team

• A flare for beautiful presentation and authentic flavours. 

• Strong English language skills, native Thai speaker

• Pride in maintaining a clean working environment 

• A hard worker who is able to be on their feet for long parts of the day preparing drinks
